Akal Dyal: Undying Compassion

Akal Dayal is a book celebrating the life, teachings, and passing of our spiritual teacher Yogi Bhajan, also known as Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogi Ji.

It includes passages taken daily from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, during the 40 days after our teacher’s passing on October 6, 2004 at the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das, Espanola, New Mexico. The book also contains several of his talks bearing on this time of transition and our collective spiritual destiny; plus many uplifting biographical and memorial passages and photographs.

Our youth, and one day, their descendants as well, will particularly enjoy the moving “Dedication to the Future Generations,” and the children’s section explaining his incarnation. His last Gurdwara talk resonates deeply, along with the lecture “You Are the Akal Takhat,” given in 1987, which portents his passing on the same day (the 6th) of the month that the Akal Takhat sacrificed and celebrated itself.

All proceeds from the sale of Akal Dayal will support Miri Piri Academy and Yogi Bhajan’s vision for a spiritually uplifting, academically challenging, and personally affirming school.
