Singh Sahib Dr. Narayan Singh Khalsa
(Michael J. Lincoln)
December 2, 1933 – October 15, 2016
by SS Dr. Sat Kaur Khalsa, Secretary of Religion
A dear, heart-centered brilliant soul has left his physical body. Dr. Michael J. Lincoln (Ebner), better known to many of us as Narayan Singh, passed from this earth plane on October 15, 2016 in Redmond, Washington.
He was a uniquely gifted diagnostician, psychologist, and an extraordinary human being who gave selflessly from his heart to countless people. He was a beloved member of our Sikh Dharma/3HO family. Singh Sahib Dr. Narayan Singh Khalsa took his Sikh Dharma Minister vows in June 1998 and served selflessly for many years.
Earning his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Oregon, he worked as an instructor and research assistant. He also served at a counseling center, mental health clinic, and an institution for the mentally challenged.
As the Clinical Director of one of the first behavior modification treatment programs for emotionally disturbed children, Narayan Singh pioneered the successful healing of deep emotional wounds in both children and their families. He went on to serve in this role at several other innovative treatment programs for children and adolescents over a 30-year period.
He developed a heart-centered face reading process based on modern psychological assessment approaches and used this gift to help many people as well as teaching this system to others.
He consulted with programs on addiction, juvenile and adult corrections, and child services. He also served as a forensic psychologist for those populations.
For several years, he also served as a professor of psychology at the University of Portland in Oregon, training students in professional clinical psychology and conducting research. For 20 years, he taught a uniquely-crafted (his own design) accreditation program that trained childcare practitioners.
As all of this work was going on, he began to develop a growing spiritual awareness and commitment. Eventually, he integrated the sacred into his work and he evolved into a Psycho-Sacred Teacher and Healer. He had an incredible ability to know the life story of another and relate to the person’s soul.
He was a prolific writer and has left an enormous body of work for the future of psychology at his website, Talking Hearts. He was way ahead of his time. He will be greatly missed by many. While he was here, he truly helped to uplift consciousness on planet earth.

RAAMKALEE, FIFTH MEHL: Such is the Perfect Divine Guru, my help and support. Meditation on Him is not wasted. || 1 || Pause || Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, I am enraptured. The dust of His feet snaps the noose of Death. His lotus feet dwell within my mind, and so all the affairs of my body are arranged and resolved. || 1 || One upon whom He places His Hand, is protected. My God is the Master of the masterless. He is the Savior of sinners, the treasure of mercy. Forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to Him. || 2 || One whom He blesses with His Immaculate Mantra, renounces corruption; his egotistical pride is dispelled. Meditate on the One Lord in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Sins are erased, through the love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. || 3 || The Guru, the Transcendent Lord, dwells among all. The treasure of virtue pervades and permeates each and every heart. Please grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan; O God, I place my hopes in You. Nanak continually offers this true prayer. || 4 || 45 || 56 || Page 903
