SS Shiva Singh Khalsa will facilitate a Minister Gathering at the 2023 Winter Solstice Festival in Lake Wales, Florida! This will be the first in-person Minister gathering since the beginning of the COVID pandemic. It will be taking place on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 2:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. in the Gurdwara/Palafito space. This gathering will be a space for Ministers to check in and share, followed by a group practice reciting the Slok of Japji Sahib. Two new Ministers were ordained in August 2023: SS Inderpal Singh Bola of Berkshire, UK and SS Manjot Singh Khalsa of Gotland, Sweden. Inderpal Singh took his vows in-person at the European Yoga Festival in France, on August 12. Manjot Singh was ordained at his beautiful new home Gurdwara in a Virtual Vows ceremony on August 27. These new Sikh Dharma Ministers were ordained in the presence of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. The Office of the Secretary of Religion is here to support all Ministers in getting current so that they can participate in the various aspects of the SSSC election. On May 25, 2022 the SSSC announced that the election timeline originally announced earlier this year has been delayed by 75 days.
